Last month, Global star Ram Charan-starrer Game Changer, directed by S Shankar, was shot for almost 10 days sporadically in Hyderabad and in Siricilla (for one day), with supporting actors like Srikanth, Jayaram, SJ Suryah, Naveen Chandra and Samuthirakani in attendance. And now we hear the latest schedule will begin next week.
“The fresh schedule will begin from October 1st, with the makers planning to shoot at least for 10 days at a stretch. Hyderabad will be hosting this leg. SJ Suryah and Jayaram, both of whom are playing political leaders in the film, will participate in this schedule. Naveen Chandra is also required for this leg. Shankar is planning to complete the pending talkie portions. It remains to be seen whether this leg will call it an end to the entire shoot part or whether the director still requires some more days,” revealed a source.
Game Changer is about an honest IAS officer (played by Charan) who wages a battle against political corruption through fair elections to usher in a change in the game of governance. The actor is playing dual roles–of father and son in the film.
Produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film, also featuring Kiara Advani, Anjali, and Naresh Vijayakrishna, is a Thaman musical. The makers are targeting to release it for Christmas later this year. The expectations on the film are sky-high.
